
Mariam Abshilava is a Georgian photographer Historian and Art-historian, Born in 2000. Co-founder of photography community Plaforma7, from 2022.
Her photography is deeply personal and conceptual delving into self-discovery, emotions, and human connections.
Mariam embraced the art of darkroom printing and film development. These techniques allow her to maintain a sense of intimacy and authenticity in her work, even as the world often prioritizes speed and convenience over substance.
Mariam’s works have been showcased in various exhibitions in Georgia and Lithuania, she participated in art residencies, organized workshops, exhibitions and fair. Some of her works are in private collections in Georgia, Lithuania, and France.
